At 3rd June the MX2 German Championship had the pleasure to be the first riders on the new rebuilt track of Teutschenthal.
I was pretty excited to ride there as it was some years ago when I did ride this championship the last time. The weather forecast didn't look so well for this upcoming sunday a lot of rain would be expected.
Steffi not to stop in Dutch Open!Steffi was able to take the lead in the last round of the Dutch Open. It was all eyes on her if she could keep this one going and expand her leading position.
So she did...
We went to the deep sand of Gemert with was in perfect condition. After the heavy rain of the past day’s they did a superb job to make the track perfect.
Steffi on command with double win!Steffi was in full power to take over that leading position in the dutch open. After a good rest she really wanted to put the Rabbit Kawasaki on the podium again! So she did.
The World Champ made a clear win with more then 50 sec gab on 2nd rider. With thi double win she takes the lead in the championship again after her big crash in Valkenswaard!
We went to Valkenswaard for the first race of the World Championship this year. As we know it would be complete new episode for Steffi as she has new partners - new brand - new goals - and no complete World Championship.
However Steffi wanted to show the Golden Rabbit Kawasaki in front in the race!
After the big crash she had in the second round of the Dutch Open it was time to get revanch! The Rabbit Kawasaki was ready to rock and so she did.
Putting the fastest time on the chart with 5 sec advance on the second rider it looked smooth.
The race would be one complete walk over. Starting the first race with a lead in first corner she was gone... After 25 minutes of racing Steffi collected the victory.
After a great Dutch season opener in Lochem, we went to the deep sand of Valkenswaard for the second round of the Dutch series...
With a big domination in the first round we didn’t expect less...
It all became straight clear after practice; Steffi putted without pushing the first time on the table with 5sec gab. The race started and with a holeshot she was gone...
The Rabbit Kawasaki was not seeing back and miss Laier did win the race with nearly 1min gab to second rider Van Wordagen...
The new season is on it’s way and Steffi is getting slowley adapted to her new Rabbit - Kawasaki bike. Having her first race in Valence 2 weeks ago it was now time to get the setup of the bike.
The first round of the Dutch Open was in Lochem in the North of The Netherlands. Steffi really didn’t know what to expect. She really had her doubts about being good enough to win some races. She didn’t spend much time on her new green power and with 14 years on the same bike brand this was the complete new experience....
